TIPS FOR APPLYING LIQUID FOUNDATION

1. PREP AND PRIME

Any kind of foundation can look flaky and uneven if applied to dry skin. When looking at how to apply liquid foundation, make sure your skin is moisturised and try using a primer beforehand to create a smooth base.
2. GET THE COLOUR RIGHT
This may seem like a no-brainer but you’d be surprised at how many people are wearing the wrong coloured foundation! Wearing the wrong shade for your skin tone can be a dead give away that you’re wearing makeup.
3. KEEP IT CLEAN
This tip for how to apply liquid foundation may seem like a given, but it’s a step that’s worth reiterating! Always use clean tools to apply your liquid foundation, whether they are your fingers, sponge applicators, or makeup brushes. i lash
4. APPLY IN AREAS
When looking at how to apply liquid foundation, distribute it evenly by dotting on small amounts on different areas of your face – your cheeks, chin, and forehead. Use the back of your hand as a palette to pour a small amount of foundation on and then using your fingers, a sponge, or makeup brush, dab the foundation on to your face.
5. BLEND WELL
Nothing looks more unnatural then when you can see a line between your foundation and your actual skin colour. Avoid this look by making sure you blend your foundation in well lashes

5 MAKEUP MISTAKES THAT AGE YOU

1. CAKED ON CONCEALER

One of the most common makeup mistakes that age you, can come from putting on too much concealer. If your concealer looks totally cakey on your skin and makes your skin appear not natural, than that’s a total makeup mistake! A solution to this is making sure that your concealer is light and airy, instead of thick and cakey!

2. RUNNY MASCARA

Sometimes, you can’t control your runny mascara. It could be a case of your mascara getting wet somehow. A lot of women do not actually check their mascara before they leave, so they could have some smudges and little black lines. Girls, you always want to make sure that you are checking every single bit of your face before you leave, that way you can make sure that your mascara is in the right place! lash

3. BLOOD RED LIPS

While red lips can look fantastic for most seasons, you want to be careful with which red you are choosing. You don’t want to choose a red that is super blood red or a red that is going to be too dark for your skin tone.

4. SUNKEN IN CHEEKS

With blush and bronzer tricks, it can be super easy for you to actually make your cheeks appear sunken in. This isn’t a look that you want ladies! Instead, make sure that you know exactly how to get rid of that sunken in look!

5. TOO THIN BROWS

Another common makeup mistake that age you can actually be plucking your brows too thin and creating that ‘surprised’ look. This can actually age you a lot.

How to Apply Eye Makeup

1. Start with a clean slate. Wash your whole face with a gentle cleanser before you begin, paying particular attention to any leftover mascara or eyeliner. If you're having trouble removing residual eye makeup, try using cold water or regular lotion on a cotton swab. If you have dry skin around your eyes or suffer from eczema, rub a little moisturizer underneath your eyes, as well as between the outer corners of your eyes and your temples. Don't put moisturizer on your eyelids - this will make them greasy, and the makeup you apply will run off.
2 .Even out the skin tone around your eyes. Apply concealer to dark under-eye circles and to the area where your inner eye meets your nose. (Shop for concealer somewhere that allows you to test samples and swipe them across your inner wrists - buy the one that covers up the veins best.) Use your fingers or a concealer brush to blend the makeup outward to your cheekbones and nose. Set the concealer by brushing a loose, flesh-toned powder over it; apply some powder to your eyelids, as well.
3. Apply eyeshadow. You can use one color, or several. Here's a basic three-color plan.
·         Apply
4 .Blend the colors. If you applied more than one color of eyeshadow, use your fingers or a fluffy, tapered blending brush to mix the colors a bit. This will create a more natural, cohesive look.
5. Apply eyeliner. You can use liquid eyeliner, a liner pencil, or even wet eyeshadow on an angled brush to line your eyes. Whatever you pick, move across your upper lash line in tiny, controlled strokes as if you're drawing a dotted line. Go back and fill in the blanks with more small strokes. For more drama, line your lower lashes as well.
6. Curl your lashes. Use an  I lash curler to grip your upper lashes. Hold the clamp for about five seconds. Accessing your lashes is easiest if you half-close your eyes. Remember, always curl before you apply mascara, never after.
7. Apply mascara. You can apply a little or a lot, and there are many different brands and formulas for volume, length and definition. Find a product you're happy with. Start at the base of your upper lashes and slowly sweep upward. For a more dramatic effect, apply mascara to the lower lashes as well. If you want to apply multiple coats, do it while the first coats of mascara are still wet - applying a new coat to dry mascara will result in clumps.

Makeup Tips for Hazel Eyes

Women with hazel eyes have the best of both worlds. Their diverse flecked irises make way for a multitude of complimentary shades. Hazel eyes can be made up to look classic, romantic, or downright sultry. The best way to highlight beautiful hazel eyes is to think outside the box and explore a full makeup palette in a realm of colors.

Eyeliner

Eyeliner is used outline and define the upper eye lid, the under eye, or both. Although a rich brown or black eyeliner will look great on brown eyes, a colored liner in either a purple or eggplant shade will look simply stunning and draw attention to green eyes. In addition to a colored pencil, white eyeliner is a crisp alternative that instantly brightens the eyes and lends a retro vibe to your look. To keep your eyes the focus, apply a neutral makeup palette and avoid a dark lipstick, sticking with a rosewood or sheer apricot gloss instead.

Eye Makeup

Green eyed ladies can experiment with many bold and vivid eye makeup shades. While brown or blue eyes may look garish with mauve, pink or purple eye shadow, green eyed ladies look exotic when rocking a vibrant hue.
To enhance your eye color, select an eye shadow base color that is complimentary to your skin tone, in a taupe or nude hue. Then, find a vibrant shade in several different tones and layer the look accentuating the upper lid, brow bone, and the crease with the darkest shade. Although green eyes ladies can dapple in many colors, avoid blue eye shadows, which will only clash, rather than compliment, their unique eye coloring. i lashes

Experiment with Color

To find the best look for hazel eyes, never forget to consider skin coloring, hair color, and wardrobe. To fully enhance hazel eyes, women should wear lots of purple, gold and green clothing, and stay away from wash out colors like gray, blue, or orange hues. If you need expert advice and want a professional opinion, feel free to visit a cosmetic counter and meet with a sales associate to find the right colors that will make your eyes pop! Lashes Once you've learned how to compliment and enhance your exotic eye color, be prepared for plenty of praise!
